SMI/ICTM-IE Postgraduate Conference, 2020

As a core member of the Taighde Dámhe Chruinne Éireann postgraduate researchers forum at the Irish World Academy, I am helping in the planning process as we will be hosting the SMI/ICTM-IE Postgraduate Conference of 2020, in collaboration with the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, and University of Limerick. This is an annual conference that gives presentation and dissemination opportunities to the musicological postgraduate communities of Ireland.

The 45th ICTM World Conference, Bangkok, Thailand

I presented my paper, “Observing the Lullaby within Irish Tradition(al Music) “, at the 2019 ICTM World conference, hosted by Chulalongkorn University, in Bangkok, Thailand. This was an amazing week-long experience in the sharing and making of music, networking with fellow music scholars, and well as a wonderful opportunity to present aspects of my work to my peers and superiors.

The Limerick Spring, Limerick

I participated in the Limerick Spring Festival’s presentation, The Revolution Will Not Be Spotified. This was a performance piece that compiled various artists in their expression and celebration of protest song.
